Running processes monitor

This module can be used to monitor all the running processes inside your virtual private server. This allows you to learn how many resources are consumed by each active process. If you have detected a certain process is consuming too much resources resulting in slow functioning of the entire system, you can stop that process.

 

  • PID - process unique identifier.
  • UID - unique identifier of the user the processes belongs to.
  • CPU% - percent of the CPU time the process is currently consuming.
  • Memory % - percent of the RAM size the process is currently consuming.
  • Uptime - time passed since the process was started (hours:minutes.seconds or minutes.seconds).
  • Command - name of the command that is used to launch the process.

 

Stopping processes

If any of your active processes is consuming too much resources that results in low performance of the entire system, you can stop the process. To do that, select it from the list and click the "Delete" icon. Confirm that you want to stop the process by clicking OK in the following field.
